Your duties:

• You will plan and organise charter runs throughout Germany (LTL/FTL i.e. partial/full loads)
• You will ensure optimum capacity utilisation of vehicles by buying and selling charterparties and storage space
• You will be in charge of monitoring and issuing statuses proactively and ensure deadlines are met at all times
• Your varied remit will also cover costing shipments and preparing quotations, including negotiating with hauliers
• Working with standard forwarding platforms on a daily basis
• Contacting our customers in writing and by phone

Your profile:

• You will have completed a commercial apprenticeship in forwarding and logistics or an equivalent qualification
• You will already have gained some professional experience in dispatching at a groupage freight forwarder, ideally in the charter segment
• Your strengths will include good communication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong focus on service and high self-motivation
• Integrity, an independent way of working and the ability to slot into a team will all come naturally to you
• Finally, you will bring a sound knowledge of geography to the table
